Hillel and Agudas Achim jointly sponsor programs about Israel including the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, Religion in Israel, and many other programs. The Iowa City Jewish Federation (ICJF) also sponsors programs about Israel. The ICJF offers partial scholarships for students who wish to study or travel to Israel. On the calendar of events for the year is the annual Jerusalem Day and the Yom Haatzmaut celebration.
