We are trying something new this year. As part of the regular curriculum, students and their families will meet as a havurah (small congregation of friends) to celebrate Shabbat and the holidays a few times a semester. Please note that the havurah meetings are not always during regular Sunday School hours. Some are during Shabbat or during a holiday.
The havurah is an important part of the curriculum. It gives the kids a chance to learn the patterns of Jewish services in a friendly environment, surrounded by their classmates and their families. It is also an opportunity for parents to get to know each other. There will be good food, good humor, and good company at the havurah! Please note the havurah dates on your calendar and participate as a family.
Sunday School meets from 9:15 – 12:15 during the academic semester except during Jewish or secular holidays.
