Art project: Burning Bush and Ten Plagues
Preparing to act out the exodus from Egypt, the Second Grade made pictures of the burning bush and of the 10 plagues. Their teacher added the Hebrew words, and the whole class acted out each plague, hopping for fogs and scratching their heads for lice. They turned out the lights of hoshekh (darkness).
Sunday School Cancelled
On account of a snow warning for tomorrow, we cancelled Sunday School.

School’s Started
Sunday School started on a hot, humid morning last week. I’m amazed every year at how fast the kids seem to grow over the summer.

A delegation of Agudas Achim was at the Jewish Educator’s Conference newCAJE. NewCAJE’s mission is to connect, inspire and affirm all Jewish educators to build a stronger Jewish community. NewCAJE raise up Jewish educators through transformational experiences, professional development and Jewish learning in a joyful and intentional community.
